The Other Side of the SOUL

My photo
♥ I am a girl that wishes maybe life would always be a dream. A Utopian society wherein everything is ideal. It's upto me, to make it right. ♥ I don't love general quotations because I know that everyone has one. ♥ I don't try to be myself but I try to be comfortable with others. ♥ I don't get blinded by things that knocks me dead.. and I don't find life hard, it's just challenging. :) ♥ shina.

Take The Risk

From the book by Paolo Coelho, BY THE RIVER PIEDRA I SAT DOWN AND WEPT.

We have to take the risk, he said. We will only understand the miracle of life fully when we allow the un expected to happen.

Everyday, God gives us the sun- and also the moment in which we have the ability to change everything that makes us unhappy.
Everyday, we try to pretend that we haven't perceived that moment, that it doesn't exist- that today is the same as yesterday and will be the same as tomorrow. But if people really pay attention to their everyday lives, they will discover that magic moment. It may arrive in the instant when we are doing something mundane, like putting our front door key in the lock; it may lie hidden in the quiet that follows the lunch hour or in the thousand and one things that all seem the same to us. BUT THAT MOMENT EXIST- a moment when all the power of the stars becomes a part of us and enables us to perform miracles.
Pityful is the person who is afraud of taking risks. Perhaps this person will never be disappointed or disillusioned; perhaps she won't suffer the way people do when they have a dream to follow.
My Response:
It is when life tries so hard to struggle that sometimes, you forget the essence of having it. Because the mind was drowned with confusion and frustration of how you'd get through, we tend to forget how much goodness there is in it. He didn't gave us a life to spend on all the comforts it can have, if He has given us as such, then it is not a life but merely a period of time you'd have stayed on earth.
Miracles helps us through the duration of life. But isn't it that God is the only one who performs it and we are astonished? Isn't that we just expect it to happen and never really dare to do something so impossible? Isn't it it's near irony? That we perform miracles the way God do it?
There's so many things you can relate for having the good side and the bad side of a borrowed life. Because it is borrowed, we don't care for it. We a re selfish to use it against him and to others. We have borrowed it, we don't own it. There's a lot of difference.
